THE LOCATION

THE PROPOSAL
Ben proposed on our 5 year anniversary, at the little cottage we were staying at in our favourite part of the state, Port Arthur. Not long after we arrived he placed the ring upstairs on our bed. He waited for me to head up and followed me into the room, nervously getting down on one knee and popping the question! Of course I said yes, and the rest is history!
THE THEME

Fresh white florals and eucalyptus bouquets from Kingston Florist, and white rose and eucalypt boutonniere's handmade by my Nan.
THE RECEPTION
Our reception was a simple, traditional kind of style wedding reception. We had around 100 guests join us for a delicious buffet spread by Beaches Restaurant followed by wedding cake for dessert. Our fathers, maid of honour and best man gave hilarious and heartfelt speeches and we danced the night away.
THE PHOTOGRAPHER
We knew we were going to choose Olivia from the moment we met her. She was so relaxed, friendly and bubbly. She didn't make photos seem like a stressful thing and just let us all goof around and be ourselves. Olivia's communication was brilliant and she was so efficient in having our photos ready for us! She captured the moments of our day so perfectly. I love looking back on our photos and being able to remember so clearly what we were thinking or laughing about in that moment. We would highly recommend Olivia to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!
THE CELEBRANT
The celebrant was Leanne Orr - Civil Funeral and Marriage Celebrant. Leanne was incredible and was so easy to speak with. She really put a lot of effort into understanding our story and what we wanted out of our ceremony. We incorporated words of advice from our mothers and grandmothers, as well as poems read by my younger cousins into the ceremony and it was such a personal and sentimental moment. Leanne was so organised and made the whole process so easy for us.
